This Essence was made in Washington's Cascade Mountains within a Forest of ancient tree stumps. The old growth forests here were stripped bare of Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Spruce and Cedar by lumber barons in the late 1800's and early 1900's. As the forests regrew young trees like this one can be found to be growing out of the stumps of their ancient ancestors.
