You are invited to an Open House at Merri Walters and Robin Grosshuesch's home on Friday evening, July 16, between 6 and 9 p.m.

This is a unique opportunity to hear perspectives from two leading flower essence makers!
Join Merri Walters and her guest, Australian flower essence maker Ian White, for a Flower Essence Forum on Tuesday evening, May 11, from 7 to 9 pm at the Steiner High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Explore the many benefits of using flower essences. Learn how these flower essence makers approach their craft. Engage them with your questions. It will be an intimate evening of sharing and discovery.
Merri Walters is one of the founders of Great Lakes Sacred Essences. She has made flower essences in Michigan, along the Great Lakes, and at sacred sites throughout the United States and Canada. Merri has practiced as an intuitive holistic healer for 30 years.
Ian White is the founder of Australian Bush Flower Essences. He is a fifth-generation herbalist and has practiced as a naturopathic healer for 30 years. Ian travels the world, teaching about natural health and vibrational medicine.
Fee: $50 per person.

Merri Walters will present a mini-lecture, "Gifts From Nature: Using Flower Essences," at the Radisson Inn in Livonia, Michigan, on Sunday, April 25, from 11:30 am to noon. She is one of the speakers at an expo organized by Journey Magazine. Great Lakes Sacred Essences will be at the entire expo, which runs April 23, 24, and 25. You'll be able to enjoy our sparkling display in the vendors' area.
The 3 days of the "Mind Body Soul Expo Detroit 2010" are brimming with headline speakers (Debbie Ford and Dan Millman), workshops, mini-lectures, demonstrations, and a variety of vendors - everything selected "to spark you to higher levels of consciousness." Ticket prices are multi-tiered, ranging from a one-day admission pass to the vendor area ($8) all the way up to a "premium all access package" (for a lot more).

An interactive sculpture offering the spraying of Great Lakes Sacred Essences' environmental sprays joins other pieces of art at the Dream Seeding for Compassionate Communities All Ages Art Show. Featuring close to 40 pieces from adults and at least 30 - maybe even more - pieces from children, the exhibition will have "a lot of very fun stuff". All of these pieces are "creative expression from folks of all ages that in ANY way helps us to see a more peaceful, just, beautiful & ecologically healthy community & world can be created." Through Merri Walters and Martha Hill's sculpture "Flower Essences - Alchemists Supporting Change" several different Great Lakes Sacred Essences environmental sprays are available to spray.
The Art Show is on exhibit in the Art Lounge of the Michigan Union on State Street, near the heart of the University of Michigan central campus in Ann Arbor. The Art Lounge is on the ground floor, to your left as you enter the building from State Street (Directions). Admission is free. Visit anytime and as often as you wish from early morning until late at night.
A reception with live music will be held on Saturday, March 20th, from 6 to 9 p.m. This is going to be an unusually fun multi-generational gathering with hummus, spinach dip, fruit, veggies, sweets and beverages, story telling from Jill Halpern, and beautiful music from longtime children's folk musician Laz of Gemini and assorted friends and family. Admission is free.

Great Lakes Sacred Essences will be at the 2nd annual Natural Health Fair hosted on the high school campus of the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor on Saturday, March 13 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Admission and parking are free.
This is a chance to experience our array of flower essences, organic environmental sprays and organic soaps, all arranged in a beautiful display. It's also an opportunity to meet Merri Walters and other members of the Great Lakes Sacred Essences project.
Merri Walters will offer two presentations. These classes are free! The first, at 2 p.m., will describe the making of flower essences for the Great Lakes Sacred Essences project; the other, at 3 p.m., will explore how to integrate the practical benefits of flower essences into your life and work.

Great Lakes Sacred Essences will be at the 3rd annual Natural Health Fair & Sustainability Expo at the Genesys Conference Center in Grand Blanc on Saturday, March 6 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Admission and parking are free.
This is a chance to experience our array of flower essences and organic environmental sprays, all arranged in a beautiful display. It's also an opportunity to enjoy the speakers, exhibitors, and demonstrations that will be featured throughout the day.
The Genesys Conference & Banquet Center is at 805 Health Park Boulevard in Grand Blanc, in the building attached to the Genesys Athletic Club (Directions).

This will be the third and final class of the Women's Series taught by Merri Walters, with each session organized around a major stage of women's life experiences.
Moonapause will look at feminine creative energy as it transitions into the wise woman phase of life, when the wisdom of the ages vies with menopause, hormone imbalances, hot flashes, memory loss, weight gain, and concerns about maintaining vitality and enhancing sexual energy flow.
As she has throughout the series, Merri will discuss the use and benefits of flower essences, herbs and natural practices to strengthen health and reactivate vital "woman power."
A new combination essence will be introduced. Each person attending will receive a bottle of the new essence.
The fee is $250 ($225 if registered by February 8).
The class begins at 10 a.m. on February 13th with registration and check-in from 9:30 to 10 o'clock. Bring your own lunch - please note, there is no microwave available.
